Sbu Nkosi will get his first run-out for the Cheetahs in the SA Cup warm-up match against the Griquas in Jacobsdal on Saturday.

The Cheetahs will face their central rivals in a preparation match for the SA Cup, which is set to kick off on Friday, 22 March.

Nkosi, who officially joined the Cheetahs on a one-year contract last week, has been named to start on the right wing.

It will be Nkosi’s first high-profile match since he played for the World XV against the Barbarians at Twickenham last May.

The 2019 World Cup winner will combine in a back three that includes Tapiwa Mafura and Siba Xamlashe, while former Stormers flyhalf Abner van Reenen will get a shot in the No 10 jersey, with Ruan Pienaar rested for the match.

Namibia hooker Louis van der Westhuizen will captain the Cheetahs.
