Juarno Augustus is still on the Springboks radar despite his absence from the squad for the upcoming Nations Championship matches.
That is according to head coach Rassie Erasmus, who says that the Ulster back-rower is simply absent due to the fact that he is currently injured.
Augustus was largely overlooked for Test duty during his time with the Stormers before making the move to Northampton Saints in 2021. He played a pivotal role in the PREM Rugby club’s surge into the Investec Champions Cup during their 2024/25 season and their domestic title victory the season before.
