Josh Murphy will be free to play for Connacht this weekend despite being sent off for striking Springboks front-rower Jan-Hendrik Wessels during the alleged groping incident.
The 30-year-old was handed a 20-minute red card for hitting his Bulls opponent on the head in the 28-27 loss in Galway last weekend.
Murphy claimed that it was in reaction to Wessels’ behaviour, whom he accused of grabbing his private parts.
