Coming into the 2026 Test season, the Springboks would have loved to have mercurial flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu available for selection, and in all likelihood – if fit – he would have taken on the goal-kicking duties.
However, an ankle injury has ruled him out of the July Tests, and with Handre Pollard no longer the first-choice No 10, the Springboks have started the season without their best goal kicker.
