Rugby fans heading to Pretoria’s Loftus Versfeld for next Saturday’s Nations Championship Test between South Africa and Scotland can leave the traffic behind and travel by train instead.

Following the rollout of dedicated matchday services for the July home Tests, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) will operate shuttle trains to Loftus Versfeld, with return tickets costing just R20.

The service follows the successful launch of dedicated matchday trains for this past Saturday’s Test against England at Ellis Park. It gave rugby supporters an affordable way to get to the stadium.
