On Monday it was officially confirmed that Cheslin Kolbe will make a sensational return to the Stormers next season, bringing an end to a highly successful stint playing his domestic rugby in Japan.
The speed merchant grew up in Cape Town and came through the Stormers rugby system, earning 49 caps for the franchise before continuing his career abroad in France and Japan, where he established himself as one of the top players in the game.
Welcoming the signing of the Springbok superstar, John Dobson explained that it was a multi-faceted move and required Kolbe to make a financial sacrifice.
