Benhard Janse van Rensburg once admitted that his kids would question his decision if he played for England rather than the Springboks.

Following the Bristol Bears star’s call-up to Steve Borthwick’s squad ahead of the Nations Championship, a 2024 interview has resurfaced where he talks about his international hopes.

Janse van Rensburg was speaking on the Maul or Nothing podcast almost two years ago when he was asked if he would prefer earning five Springboks caps or play 50 times for England.

“It’s a really good question. It depends, if the Springboks call-up comes before England, I would never say
