Springboks prop stocks hit as Rassie Erasmus names Ox Nche’s replacement after ‘tough’ injury

Rassie Erasmus has added Asenathi Ntlabakanye to the Springboks squad following the injury to Ox Nche, who returns to South Africa.

Nche was forced from the pitch in the opening 20 minutes of the 61-7 victory over Japan at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The powerhouse loosehead will undergo scans to determine the extent of his injury when he touches down back in South Africa.

Ntlabakanye replaces Nche

Meanwhile, Ntlabakanye joined the Springboks squad in London on Sunday morning after representing the Barbarians against the All Blacks XV in Brentford.
