The Stormers have been bolstered by seven Springboks who have been named in the matchday 23 for the clash against the Sharks on Saturday.
Director of rugby John Dobson has also named highly-rated scrum-half Haashim Pead on the bench, who is in line to make his debut for the Stormers in their first home game of the 2026/27 United Rugby Championship season.
Pead made the late switch from the Stormers to Lions, signing a four-year deal with the Cape Town-based outfit. Dobson’s matchday 23 includes 11 Springboks in total with the Stormers set to run out in their new black kit
