Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi could face an uncertain future at the Sharks after it was revealed in the South African media that he is in trouble due to ill-discipline.
Mbonambi has not featured for South Africa in the international arena since last year due to injuries.
The 35-year-old has also been out of action for the Sharks in the first three rounds of this year’s United Rugby Championship and according to Rapport this is due to a disciplinary issue.
Mbonambi is reportedly awaiting the outcome of a disciplinary hearing into his conduct during the Sharks’ pre-season team-building camp at a game
