Springbok fever will grip South Africa once again on Saturday as Rassie Erasmus’ world champions head into their first Test of the 2026 with a blockbuster clash against England at Ellis Park.
While the Springboks will be overwhelming favourites, a strong England team will be more than happy to embrace the underdogs tag and go in search of a result that would send ripples around the rugby world as these two rivals clash for the first time since the end of 2024 when South Africa triumphed 29-10 in London.
