Former Springbok coach Jake White has taken up his first coaching role since parting ways with the Bulls earlier this year, joining Selborne College in East London as a rugby consultant from 2026.
The 61-year-old 2007 Rugby World Cup-winning coach will assist the prestigious Eastern Cape school in strengthening its rugby programme – marking a return to his roots in schoolboy rugby, where his coaching journey began decades ago.
‘Rugby tradition’
“I’m excited to see what rugby looks like there now since I started coaching schools rugby years ago,” White said.
