In an announcement that will undoubtedly catch the attention of rugby fans, the Sharks have announced the signing of Springbok flyhalf Manie Libbok, who will join the club on a multi-year deal from July 2027.

The Sharks said that Libbok’s decision to commit his future to the Sharks is a “clear statement of intent as the club builds a new era under Head Coach JP Pietersen“.

With more than 30 Test caps to his name, Libbok came through Bulls system, had a short stint with the Sharks in 2020/21 and then went on to become a Springbok contender after starring
