The Wallabies’ bumper 2025 Test schedule has been announced with Australia playing 15 internationals in total.
Joe Schmidt’s charges will face off against Fiji before the highly anticipated British & Irish Lions Series in July and August.
The Wallabies will play in six different cities this year, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Townsville and Perth.
Wallabies’ 2025 Test schedule
Following the British and Irish Lions Series, the Wallabies will head to South Africa for back-to-back Rugby Championship Tests against the Springboks before returning home for Tests against Argentina in September.
Both Tests against Los Pumas will be played in the afternoon, with their first meeting in Townsville scheduled for a 2:30pm AEST start, before the two sides will clash at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium seven days later with a 2:00pm AEST kick-off.
That will be followed by a trip to New Zealand where the Wallabies will tackle the All Blacks at their fortress, Eden Park, before their final home game of the year and Schmidt’s last game in charge against the same opposition at Optus Stadium in Perth.
Michael Hooper: ‘There would have to be some significant circumstances’ to make Wallabies return
“It was terrific to have really strong support in our home Tests last year,” Wallabies coach Schmidt said.
“This year’s Lions Series will be unique and exciting. There will be red hordes of Lions supporters, so it’ll be great to see as much Gold in the stands as possible.
“Meanwhile, the family-friendly afternoon kick-offs against Fiji and later on in the Rugby Championship will likely be popular with both players and supporters.”
The STAGGERING cost to watch every British & Irish Lions match in Australia revealed
Australia’s end-of-year tour will see the Wallabies tackle five different opponents with the new head coach’s first assignment being the Brave Blossoms in Japan.
A return to Twickenham to face England follows with meetings with Italy, Ireland and France concluding the Wallabies’ year.
