For the third season in a row there will be a new winner of the URC as the Vodacom Bulls and Glasgow Warriors gear up for an epic decider in Pretoria this week.

It will be a second URC final appearance for the Bulls in three seasons, and their first final at Loftus Versfeld since 2009 where they beat the Chiefs in the Super Rugby decider.

Jake White’s charges fought tooth and nail against Leinster in a gripping semi-final, scoring three tries – two from Sergeal Petersen – and overcame a first-half yellow card to snatch a 25-20 victory.

The defending champions and log-leaders, Munster’s 17-10 defeat to the Warriors at Thomond Park handed the Pretoria outfit a first-ever URC final at Loftus.

Glasgow’s two tries knocked out the defending champs who were poised to host the final after finishing the pool stages as the top-ranked team.

Saturday’s showpiece kicks off at 6pm.
