New Zealand centre Rieko Ioane has taken a dig at Ireland great Johnny Sexton in a cheeky social media post after the All Blacks’ victory in Dublin on Friday.

Following the Kiwis’ 23-13 win at Aviva Stadium, Ioane took to Instagram. With the All Blacks snapping Ireland’s 19-match home winning streak, the 27-year-old posted a pointed message referencing his feud with Sexton from last year’s Rugby World Cup.

After New Zealand ended Ireland’s World Cup hopes in France, Ioane and Sexton had a heated post-match exchange, which the Irishman later shared in his memoir.

Sexton alleged that Ioane mocked his impending retirement, saying, “Enjoy your retirement, you c***,” after the final whistle. The comment lingered, and it set the tone for a charged rematch in Dublin.

On Friday, Ioane, leading the haka for the first time, doubled down with his Instagram post showing images from the game and a shot of the late Heath Ledger’s Joker captioned: “Put that in the book.”
