Jaco Visagie returns to captain a heavily rotated Lions team as the Currie Cup league leaders host Griffons in the final round of the tournament on Friday.
The Lions have named almost a fresh starting lineup for the final-round clash at Ellis Park as the current league leaders look to cement their place at the top of the table.
Lock Ruben Schoeman is the only player who retains his starting position in the pack from the 57-33 victory over the Vodacom Bulls last weekend.
In the backline, Nico Steyn shifts from flyhalf to scrumhalf, forming a halfback partnership with Kade Wolhuter. Meanwhile, Tapiwa Mafura switches from wing to fullback in place of Quan Horn, with Boldwin Hansen returning to the wing.
The Lions are one point ahead of the second-place Bulls, who face the Sharks in Durban on Sunday afternoon.
