The Lions have called on Sibabalo Qoma to replace Springbok flank Ruan Venter in one of three changes to the pack for the clash with DHL Western Province on Saturday.

Venter, who scored three tries as the Lions mauled the Pumas, has been left out of the matchday-23 entire to face DHL WP in Johannesburg.

TEAM: WP get Bok boost

The one-cap Springbok is replaced at blindside flank by Qoma, in one of three changes to the Lions’ starting pack.

The Lions will be captained by lock Ruben Schoeman, who has returned from a suspension.

Meanwhile, Morne Brandon gets his opportunity to start at hooker with regular skipper Jaco Visagie providing cover on the bench.

There is also a return for tighthead prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye, who will make his first appearance of the Currie Cup campaign from the bench.
