Darcy Graham scored four tries, while Adam Hastings kicked 17 points as Scotland thrashed Fiji in a thrilling clash at Murrayfield on Saturday.

The Scots started strong, racing into a 29-10 half-time lead before cruising to a 57-17 victory with dominant offence and standout play from wingers Graham and Duhan van der Merwe.

The home side opened the scoring through fullback Kyle Rowe, followed by two tries from Graham, one converted by flyhalf Hastings.

Outside centre Huw Jones intercepted for a quick 26-0 lead, though Fiji fought back with touchdowns from playmaker Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and forward Meli Derenalagi to close the first 40 minutes.

Graham crossed the whitewash twice after the restart, briefly tying Van der Merwe’s all-time try-scoring record for Scotland, until the South African flyer reclaimed it with his 29th try for his adopted country.

Hastings contributed consistently, converting seven of Scotland’s eight tries, with a final Jones score sealing a convincing win for Gregor Townsend’s charges, who will regroup to host the world champion Springboks next Sunday.
