Ox Nche has addressed reports linking the Springbok world champion with a move to a French club from the Sharks at the end of next season.
According to a report on RugbyPass by Neil Fissler, the 29-year-old prop is on the fence about extending his contract with the Durban outfit at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Called “the most destructive loosehead in the world” after his 2023 World Cup semi-final heroics, Nche has been in imperious form this year, helping the Boks demolish Ireland in July before destroying the All Blacks and Wallabies to lay the platform for a 2024 Rugby Championship title win.

Speaking to the media in the buildup to Saturday’s clash between the Boks and Los Pumas in Argentina, Nche told reporters: “I have not heard anything from any French club.
“I asked my agent when I saw the article and he actually said he would handle it. But I have not heard anything and there have not been any discussions.
“So, as far as I know, I am happy to stay in South Africa.”
