Rassie Erasmus has just sent a heartfelt personal message to the Springboks and all of SA.

Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus was hospitalized, as reported on The South African.

Thankfully, he has send a personal message update everyone on his well being following his surgery.

RASSIE RESTING AND RECOVERING

So, Rassie’s surgery was a success.

Meaning, the Bok coach is on track to recover as he rests in hospital. Rassie confirmed that he underwent shoulder surgery and that he should be out of hospital by the weekend.

Furthermore, he went on to thank the Bok fans and to congratulate his players for their Rugby World Player of the Year nominee as well as Sacha-Feinberg MngomeZulu for the Breakthrough Player of the Year award.

Ironically, Erasmus was snubbed the World Coach of the Year award. Whilst, Pieter-Steph du Toit was crowned the World Rugby Player of the Year for the second time in his career.

SPRINGBOKS SET TO RETURN IN JUNE 2025

The Springboks will host Italy in two home tests before taking on Georgia in a once-off test.

Thereafter, they will host age-old rivals, the Wallabies at home in two tests during the Rugby Championship before hosting Argentina.

Meanwhile, several of the Boks will be in action for their respective clubs – The Sharks, Bulls and Stormers in the URC this weekend.
