Leinster could be forced to play their next United Rugby Championship match with their Springbok import RG Snyman.
As it stands, Leinster lead the way at the top of the URC standings and are well positioned for league honours and Champions Cup success this season.
They will travel to Llanelli this week for a round 16 clash against Scarlets, but it appears they will hit the road with their marquee Springbok, who has suffered yet another injury setback.
As per Leinster head coach Leo Cullen’s weekly injury update, Snyman injured his leg in their victory over Ulster this past weekend. It remains unclear whether he will be available for selection.
The lanky lock will be sent for further assessment to confirm the extent of the injury before a final call is made on his availability for the crunch encounter in Wales.
