Australia speedster Filipo Daugunu is among a trio of Wallabies stars who will reportedly miss the Rugby Championship rematch against the Springboks in Perth next week.

According to The Roar, the winger fractured his fibula in a 33-7 defeat by the Boks in Brisbane on Saturday, while locks Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams are sidelined due to concussions.

Daugunu is expected to miss the remainder of the Rugby Championship. Frost and Williams, though likely to be fit for the Argentina tour, will miss Saturday’s clash at Optus Stadium.

In response, coach Joe Schmidt has called up Reds recruit Josh Canham, along with Force duo Tom Robertson and Sam Carter, to bolster the squad.

The Wallabies are also grappling with the absence of prop Taniela Tupou, whose father recently passed away, further weakening their forward stocks.

Despite the challenges, Marika Koroibete is set to return to the left wing, providing much-needed experience and physicality in the Wallabies’ bid to bounce back after their heavy loss at Suncorp Stadium.
