SARugbymag.co.za readers had their say and voted Handre Pollard and Cobus Reinach as the ideal Springbok halfback partnership to tackle the All Blacks on Saturday.
The world champions will look to claim a record-equalling third win in a row over New Zealand and take a huge step towards the Rugby Championship title in Johannesburg.
In a poll run in the buildup to the Highveld duel, 27% of 6 152 voters decided that Pollard must don the green and gold No 10 jumper this week, ahead of rookie playmaker Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and fellow Bok world champion Manie Libbok.

Pollard was the starting flyhalf when the Boks beat New Zealand in the 2023 World Cup final in Paris, slotting four first-half penalties to help South Africa win 12-11.
However, the two-time World Cup winner was chased in the poll by Feinberg-Mngomezulu (21%), who is hoping to face the All Blacks for the first time after starting in both of SA’s historic Test wins in Brisbane and Perth.
Rassie Erasmus’ scrumhalf stocks has been boosted by the return to fitness of Jaden Hendrikse, but 24% of readers want Reinach to line up alongside Pollard against the Kiwis.
Grant Williams, though, was hot on his heels with 21% of the vote.
